Mercaptans
In organic chemistry, a thiol is a compound containing the functional group consisting of a sulfur atom and a hydrogen atom (-SH). Being the sulfur analogue of a hydroxyl group (OH), this functional group is called thiol group or sulfhydryl group. Traditionally thiols are called mercaptans.
